Our History

Audubon Title was established in 2001, by Ryan Scafidel with the goal was to provide real estate settlement and legal services to the Louisiana community in an energetic, technologically advanced, and responsive manner.
Striving to provide detailed client service in the most ethical fashion, Audubon Title quickly grew to become a premier title company for Residential and Commercial transactions across the State, having established strong relationships with local banks and other financial institutions, mortgage bankers and brokers, developers and contractors, local government agencies and real estate teams.

After almost twenty years in business, Audubon Title has an acute understanding of the specific needs of clients in New Orleans and Metropolitan real estate market.
Our Louisiana licensed attorneys are heavily concentrated in real estate and related financing transactions, supported by our dedicated and diversified staff members.
As projects and client needs require, we also draw upon other firm concentrations which may relate to a particular transaction. We have attorneys experienced in Louisiana limited liability law, corporate issues, litigation, bankruptcy and succession law, all of which may have an impact on a particular transaction or need.

We are experienced with standard and complex buying processes, such as succession properties, bankruptcy sales, short-sales, properties involving Road Home and the New Orleans Redevelopment Authority (NORA), as well as CivicSource properties – we handle it all!
